The Avalon Senior Housing, located in Emeryville, CA across the street from Emeryville's Bay Bridge Center. The Avalon is a joint venture with Catellus Development Corporation. The 67 senior apartments are a mix of twenty-five (25) different floor plans with everything from a studio apartment/one bath, one bedroom/one bath and two bedroom/one bath.. The units are equipped with self-cleaning oven and refrigerator, and has neighborhood serving retail uses on the ground floor.

We are an innovative non-profit adult community made up of people 62 years of age and older. It is a unique blend of community living and independent lifestyle. The residents of the Avalon enjoy a maintenance free home that is secure, worry free, and convenient. Residents enjoy a real sense of community and camaraderie. The Avalon Apartments are designed for seniors who desire an active retirement, including all the benefits of home without the burdens typically accompanying a single family home.
