Summary
In 1976, EBALDC acquired an underutilized warehouse in Oakland Chinatown from Lyon Storage and Moving Co., and the newly renovated facility became the Asian Resource Center in 1984; a multi-service center to house social services and businesses. This 1924 built Terra Cotta building is home to EBALDC, various non-profit agencies, retail businesses, medical facilities, and the Asian Resource Art Gallery. The Art Gallery is located in the lobby and is open to the public as a purpose of highlighting local artists and to promote cross-cultural exchange through art, culture and educational projects.Map
