La Ciudad - Print from Mexico City El Faro (The Lighthouse)is one of Mexico City's most vibrant and important cultural centers working with both emerging and seasoned visual artists. Based in Ixtapalapa, Mexico City, El Faro thrives in a working-class community of over 2 million inhabitants. The center offers workshops in printmaking, sculpture, theater, journalism, papier maché, wood works, and digital graphics. El Faro has grown to symbolize the vital role of art and culture in the social transformation of the most densely populated city in the world.

The exhibition's theme, "La Ciudad" will feature a collection of prints from El Faro Cultural Center that speak to the many complex issues in Mexico City in the midst of political change and turmoil.
