Program Assistant (NED-Lion Creek Crossings), Part-Time
Qualifications/Position Summary
The program Assistant will support the Service Coordinator in facilitating resident services at Lion Creek Crossings, and affordable housing development in East Oakland. Duties will include staffing the Family Resources Center, assisting with planning and organizing resident events, meetings and programs, and answering phone calls and other office administrative duties.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to motivate and build resident involvement and participation, to work with a diverse group of service providers and to relate to people of diverse socioeconomic and ethnic/racial backgrounds. Must have an interest in family and housing issues. Must be proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and the Internet. Must have a willingness to undertake a flexible work schedule including occasional night and weekend activities.
