Qualifications/Position Summary

Basic knowledge in work safety requirements and janitorial procedures; The ability to perform the following: janitorial work for the interior and exterior of the building complex, clean unit interiors, perform miscellaneous duties as assigned, maintain the safety and sanitary needs throughout the building; Basic reading and computational literacy; The ability to keep accurate records; And the ability to interact with residents and handle complaints with reasonable discretion and flexibility.

Under direction, the Custodian Technician performs janitorial tasks in the maintenance of rental units, common area facilities, grounds, and other work as required to protect the marketability of the project as well as the janitorial work for the interior and the exteriors of the complex. This position requires the initiative to keep the complex in good repair and cleanliness.
