Assistant Project Manager (Real Estate Development), Full-time

Qualifications/Position Summary

The Assistant Project Manager will work with Senior Project Managers & Project Managers on originating, scheduling, coordinating and implementing all aspects of the development of affordable housing projects and community and small business facilities. Projects may include new construction, rehabilitation of existing buildings, or financing the purchase of new projects. The Assistant Project Manager will have broad exposure to the design, financing and programmatic aspects of these projects. Generally, the Assistant Project Manager works on two projects at any one time. The Assistant Project Manager is directly supervised by either a Senior Project Manager or Director of Real Estate Development.

The ideal candidate will possess strong verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills, pay careful attention to detail and be well-organized. The Assistant Project Manager will be able to adjust to changing situations and work under pressure, and be able to balance competing priorities to meet development deadlines for multiple projects. The Assistant Project Manager will be able to creatively resolve conflict and have good problem-solving skills. The Assistant Project Manager must be able to work independently and with a team and be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel programs. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience in Business Administration, Planning, Architecture or a related field and a valid U.S. Driver’s license.
