We’re thrilled to announce that the Asian Resource Center has been selected as the first Solar Mosaic Site Host for solar power, and will lead Oakland into a greener, more prosperous future. With Solar Mosaic’s help, we will install a 28.8 kW solar installation on the ARC’s roof that will save ARC over $112,000 in electricity bills over its lifetime. The solar project will be funded by individuals, businesses, and organizations who invest in $100 shares of the solar project. This is a great opportunity for you or your organization to participate in solar! Anyone can buy shares by going to www.solarmosaic.com/arc and clicking on "Buy Tiles.” Each share owner will own a piece of this solar project, and will get paid back as the solar panels create energy.
