After 33 years of leadership at the East Bay Asian Local Development Corporation, Lynette Jung Lee, our Executive Director, is retiring. Come join us as we pay tribute to her legacy and tireless work for the diverse low income populations of the East Bay. After retirement, Lynette will be continuing her affordable housing advocacy efforts with a coalition of church groups in her native Hawaii, so it is appropriate that we say 'Aloha!' with a traditional Luau in her honor. This is a special opportunity to thank Lynette for all that she has done for EBALDC, community development in the East Bay, and policy efforts on a national basis.

EBALDC's Annual Dinner always generates much excitement and is one of the highlights of the fall calendar of East Bay events. This year it features delicious, traditional Hawaiian food, music, entertainment and activities. A Silent Auction begins at 5:30 p.m., followed by ongoing entertainment and a program at 7:00 p.m. Historic Sweet’s Ballroom is located at 1933 Broadway, and is adjacent to the 19th Street BART station and accessible by numerous AC Transit lines.
